DR.WU Charity Program - WU CARE Accomplishes Target

DR.WU, the No.1 clinical skincare brand, is a long-time contributor to charity. The brand had previously assisted The Garden of Hope Foundation, Hondao Senior Citizens Welfare Foundation, and earthquake victims in Hualien, and with the launch of WU CARE charity program this year,  the company hopes to exert its brand influence to call upon the public to care for the underprivileged, and turn WU CARE to WE CARE for a more caring society!

Burn victims tend to be deprived of study and employment opportunities because of prejudice towards the injuries they suffered. To care for burn victims, DR.WU has been supporting the Bring Love To Life program of Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation since 2016, and this year, the company once again teamed up with Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation to launch a new WU CARE program for benefit of burn victims. Launch of DR.WU's new Hyalucomplex Extreme Hydrating Hand Cream has been met with overwhelming response and all 1,000 pieces in the first batch were sold. Today, brand endorser Kang-Ren Wu, burn victim Ya-Ching Chuang, and Chairman Eric Wu of DR.WU visited Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation to donate 100% of revenues generated from the thousand hand creams sold to the [Mental and Physical Reconstruction Program For Burn and Facial Injury Victims] of Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation*, thereby helping burn victims through their darkest moment in life.

Kang-Ren Wu and burn victim Ya-Ching Chuang call support for burn victims

DR.WU's brand endorser Kang-Ren Wu and burn victim Ya-Ching Chuang had previously called on fans and the public to support WU CARE through short film and social media posts; today, they joined Eric Wu, Chairman of DR.WU, in a visit to Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, where CEO Ching-Hsien Shu of Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation and Director Wei-Hsiou Chen of Taipei Rehabilitation Center introduced them to the challenges of burn victims and their struggle with rehabilitation. Being a burn victim herself, Ya-Ching Chuang knew what it was like to be them. By telling her own story, she encouraged burn victims to join her in rehabilitation and meet the challenges ahead. DR.WU Chairman Eric Wu said: "Challenges of burn victims come not only from prejudice of the society, but also from the life-long rehabilitation process. Thanks to the support of many compassionate people, this year's WU CARE charity program has reached its goal, and we hope that, by offering material assistance, we can direct the society's attention towards helping burn victims through difficult times.

DR.WU rewards fans' kindness with nearly NT$140,000 of shopping credit

As a gratitude to fans' support for this year's WU CARE program, DR.WU will be rewarding each fan with shopping credits over the official website! Nearly NT$140,000 of shopping credits will be distributed to fans who had participated in the charity program, which they can spend to purchase DR.WU's effective yet less skin-sensitive range of products to take care of their skin for the coming winter! Meanwhile, DR.WU's first Hyalucomplex Extreme Hydrating Hand Cream has been met with overwhelming praises from consumers since launch. Boasting a rich and non-sticky texture, the cream is infused with sea fennel extract and anti-bacterial properties of Australian tea tree to block 99.9% of bacteria for two hours**! This product will remain on DR.WU's shelf for the protection of consumers' health. Although the pandemic has subsided, DR.WU would like to remind everyone to mask up and wash hands when visiting public areas, and apply hand cream afterwards to moisturize hands as they tend to be dry and itchy in the winter season.
