Stakeholder Engagement
In 2024, Dr. Wu conducted a stakeholder sustainability issue survey to gain a deeper understanding of the level of concern among different stakeholders regarding economic, environmental, and social issues. The survey results serve as an important reference for formulating sustainability strategies and making operational decisions.
The stakeholders covered by this survey included shareholders/investors, suppliers, customers/consumers, employees, government and regulatory authorities, non-profit organizations, and neighboring communities. The survey scope was comprehensive and representative. The questionnaire focused on the core expectations of each stakeholder group and covered a range of sustainability issues, including corporate governance, climate change response, green supply chain management, product responsibility, labor rights, and community engagement. A total of 143 valid responses were collected, representing a response rate of nearly 80%. Among the respondents, employees and customers/consumers had the highest participation rates, both exceeding 90%, demonstrating their strong concern for the Company's sustainable development.
The survey results showed that, among economic issues, the topics receiving the highest level of attention were new product and technology development and promotion, brand image, and customer service and satisfaction. On environmental issues, the primary areas of concern were biodiversity-friendly practices and sustainable material selection. In the social dimension, labor rights were identified as the core issue of greatest concern among stakeholders. Dr. Wu will continue to enhance its sustainability management mechanisms based on the survey results and strengthen communication with stakeholders to respond pragmatically to their expectations and needs.
Provided that there are no significant changes in the Company's operating model or industry value chain, stakeholder engagement assessments will be conducted once every two years. The most recent survey was conducted in 2024, and its results apply to sustainability issue management for 2024–2025.
